After graduating law school in 2011, Tim became an Associate for MichieHamlett, PLLC and Livingston Law Firm, PLLC in Charlottesville, Virginia, where his cases included a contract dispute between pharmaceutical companies, home construction contracts, a breach of contract regarding retirees’ benefits and a dispute over real estate investment business.
In 2014, Tim moved to California and established his own practice where he has since focused on trust and estate planning, personal injury law and civil rights.
It was during this time, he won a million dollar settlement against federal government organization.
Tim is a passionate and dedicated advocate of civil rights. He is a founding board member of the Virginia Equality Bar Association - Viriginia’s first association of LGBTQ attorneys. He is also a member of the Los Angeles LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce, Los Angeles County Bar Association and the LGBT Bar LA.
Prior to law school, Tim worked as a patent litigation paralegal Wilmer, Cutler, Pickering, Hale and Dorr, LLP – one of Boston’s largest firms. His background also includes clerkships for the Massachusetts Attorney General's Civil Rights Division, Alere Inc. (a publicly traded pharmaceutical company), and Lurie, Lent, & Friedman (a litigation firm in Boston, MA).
Tim graduated Harvard University cum laude in 2004 with a B.A in History. He received his J.D (law degree) from Northeastern University, Massachusetts in 2011.
